Susan is a consultant, coach, diversity practitioner, facilitator/trainer and author. She synthesizes and integrates a range of theories, models, techniques, and tools from a variety of disciplines; then creatively and pragmatically employs what is most likely to be useful. She has partnered with clients and colleagues at all levels of the system and across diverse sectors; ranging from large for-profit multinational corporations to owners of small businesses; as well as government, health care and not-for-profit. Susan has coached, consulted, or trained internationally, with in-country experiences in Austria, Canada, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lebanon, Lithuania, Mexico, Trinidad, US Virgin Islands, and across the United States; and virtual experiences in South America, Europe and the Middle East, and Asia Pacific (primarily China.) Susan is adjunct faculty at Fielding Graduate University and University of the Virgin Islands. The focus is leadership studies, with an emphasis on organization development and diversity.

Daisy has extensive experience as an advocate, coach, counselor, diversity practitioner, facilitator/trainer, and organization development (OD) specialist. Her life’s work has centered on creating more equitable relations and systems in work places and communities. Her work experience is grounded in her core belief system of social justice, power equity and human relations. Her practice is grounded in her ability to support individuals and groups to access their creativity, intuition and intrinsic gifts. Dr. Ríos provides services to individuals and groups interested in achieving high levels of personal and professional excellence; supports individuals in building effective relationship and collaboration skills to achieve desired results and guides clients in deep-level work that engages their mind, heart and spirit. Daisy is adjunct faculty at Fielding Graduate University and University of the Virgin Islands. Her focus is leadership studies, with an emphasis on organization development and diversity.

diversity immersion michael burkartEd.D.

Michael has been consulting to managers and organizations since 1978. From 1990 until 2008, he was a diversity consultant with Elsie Y. Cross Associates, Inc., and Deltech. He has worked with the following clients on diversity projects: Shell Oil, Cigna, Ortho Biotech, Kroger Foods, First Union Bank, Wachovia Bank, National Park Service, Fleet Bank, Penske, Air Products & Chemicals, Bell Helicopter, and Cessna. Michael also has wide experience consulting to organizations in the public and non-profit sectors. These include the Federal Trade Commission, EPA, USPS, public housing authorities, and various state agencies. He spent three years working extensively with the senior management and boards of some 54 non-profit organizations. His work with them focused on board development, strategic planning, and team development. Michael held a teaching position at Antioch New England Graduate School for seven years. He spent two of those years as Acting Chair of the Department of Organization & Management. Michael has a doctorate in Behavioral Studies from Boston University and is a past member of National Training Laboratories.
